Prompter People FLEX-19 19" Teleprompter Kit, Includes Flip-Q Pro Prompting Software Upgrade, REM-WLSS Wireless Remote, Soft Carrying Case

The Prompter People FLEx-19 19" Teleprompter Kit is a lightweight teleprompting system designed to work with just about every camera size from DSLR to ENG shoulder mount. In addition to the FLEx-19 teleprompter, the kit includes an upgrade to Flip-Q Pro software, the REM-WLSS wireless remote and a padded soft case to carry everything around in. The FLEx-19 features a 60/40 optical glass beamsplitter with anti-reflective coating and a 19" monitor that is viewable by talent up to 27' away. The monitor features HDMI, VGA and composite video inputs for connection without adapters to most computers as well as legacy analog video devices. To save weight, flipping of the image is accomplished by the included Flip-Q Pro software. The monitor can be powered from 100 to 240 VAC or 12 VDC power sources for use in studio or the field.

To generate the scrolling text, the FLEx-19 features a license for Flip-Q Pro teleprompting software. Flip-Q Pro will run on many versions of Windows and also OS X on an Intel-based Mac. It imports and edits text files in RTF and TXT format and can display black and white and color text over color or black and white backgrounds with various text style options available. Text scrolling can be controlled by an operator at the computer, using an optional foot petal, or by the on-camera talent themselves with the included REM-WLSS wireless hand-held remote. The software operates in "dual-screen" mode, meaning the image the operator sees on the computer is normal while the image sent to the teleprompter is reversed in software. In-software reversing allows the monitor to cut down on weight and power consumption by not requiring a built-in image-flip processor.
