Works as advertised, but not well-made
The product works very well, and fits the GoPro Hero 7 Black like a glove. I have no complaints in that regard. Unfortunately, on the very first use, in a swimming pool, the filter began to separate from the housing in one of the corners. It appears that the filter is attached with some sort of glue or adhesive, which is not very strong. On then taking the filter into the ocean, sand got into that loose corner and stuck to the adhesive around the edges. Over the course of about 3 uses, the separation of the filter from the casing became increasingly more severe.
I'm returning the product, so I won't get to test this hypothesis, but I strongly suspect that this filter will not last long. Perhaps I just got a defective item. But the one I got began to break down, without being subject to any kind of abuse, almost immediately. This is unfortunate, because the filter itself works great and is very easy to use.
