Shopper : Did it last?SAHADEWA S : Yup, running good as an original battery.JAMES G : So far, so good. It gives about the same service life as the battery that came with the camera. My camera sits unused a lot, but the battery seems to keep its charge during idle periods and still seems to provide acceptable power and longevity before needing to be recharged.WARREN H : First Power2000 I bought did not last as long as I thought it would. I put it in a Leica V- Lux 1 camera, so thought the power requirements for this non Leica battery might be too severe. The second Power2000 has proved to be adequate for the job. The price is certainly reasonable (especially compared to the Leica brand battery) and more readily available. I would certainly purchase another one. WarrenJEFFREY T : Still working fine. We got it as a swap-out battery, so when the first one gets low, we can swap it out and continue filming.DIANA G : I have had no problems so far. Can't get charged up about this product.

Bought 2 "Power2000" batteries. One barely gets an OK from me, as it functions below expectations. The second battery is clearly sub standard. It charges to about two-thirds capacity and doesn't last long at all (compared to all other similar batteries I have owned). Not surprised though as one I bought back two years ago would never charge up and its weight felt like it was missing both internal cells. But their price is far less than an OEM battery. You win some, you lose some. Because of this my recommendation comes with reservation.

Too Bad It's Made in China!

The website displays that the battery is made in Japan. When I went to purchase it at the store the label states it's made in China.. I purchased one battery only instead of my original intent to purchase 2 for a long photo shoot I had that day. It works like a battery should, but only used it twice.. I'll have to wait and see in the course of a year. My Panasonic batteries are still charging since 2008!
