Shopper : Will this battery work with my original Canon charger that corresponds with the same type of original Canon battery?NAMRATA B : Yes it would. But be careful with the make of battery. Do not buy one from a Chinese manufacturer, the one usually packaged alongwith a camera purchase as an addtional battery. Only buy original Canon battery. RegardsELIZABETH H : We received this battery as part of a camera package which was purchased as a gift. I don't recall there being another charger, but can't say difinitively if it will work with the Cannon charger. We have 2 other Canon cameras with different batteries. The charger for the one type does work (It's for an older camera) but the other does not.JEFFREY H : Yes. This goes to a point and shoot camera. The replacement works very good. Now if I can get my wife to stop loosing them.

A good battery replacement

I've been using this as a secondary battery for my Canon SX320HS. It has a good life span taking into account that my camera drains a lot of power when shooting (especially with flash). The charge time is of ~2h which make it a good travel companion.

Poor imitation

This is cheap, poor chinese battery. I was surprised on Adorama's choice of bundling this with the camera I bought. It is cheap but don't risk. It can let you down at critical. It will show the battery as slightly depleted but after 4-5 photographs only, it will deplete at a very fast pace. User is caught totaly unawares. Avoid this please.

Good so Far

Much lower price than the Canon battery. I'm using it as the primary battery to see if it lasts a long time. If it does last a long time and through many charges, then I'll review again as a great deal. Right now I can't say good or bad.
