Vintage Camera may not have OEM batteries, Therefore, It's third party time, and they work on my Nikon D700.

The battery works perfectly. Off brand (not Nikon) is just as good as the Nikon in my experience

Ordered two Nikon 2000EN-EL3E batteries, one new and one used for my backup Nikon D300. Charged both and even the used battery seems to be holding a charge. The pair enable me to provide power to the camera in the primary slot while using one in the base-attached supplemental battery pack. This should provide the additional power to provide a second camera with flash in shooting portraiture and wedding candids.

I purchased a used D700 and it came with this battery. At first I though the D700 just sucked up a lot of power because the battery lasted like 10 minutes. Then I looked at the battery and realized that it wasn't original manufacturer and it all made sense then. I charged it for several hours and the light on the charger was solid indicating a full charge. Once again, I began to test the camera and the battery was completely drained within an hour. If you're on-set shooting, you may get literally about an hour maybe even less before it dies. Also worth mentioning, as you're shooting, you can look down and one second it shows full charge and the next it's saying that the battery is dead. There's no in-between. I highly DO NOT recommend having this battery as your only source of power. I've ordered two OEM Nikon batteries and I intend on keeping this one STRICTLY as a last resort. Hope I can save someone some money with this review.

So sorry to read about all the disappointments. I first purchased two of these batteries when I first purchased my D200 on 12/29/2006. I haven't had any real problems to date. In fact it was a relief to have a battery that lasted any length of time knowing how energy consuming digital cameras can be. The original batteries purchased in '06 still will hold charges for weeks at a time. I don't really keep exact records regarding how long each battery will last but I can safely say that they will hold a charge of at least two to three weeks. I purchased a third for backup for an upcoming trip and hope that it will perform as admirably as the first two. To be honest I did search for the Nikon battery but they were out of stock. Being somewhat impulsive I went for the convenience of having the Power2000 EN-EL3E's in inventory. When the battery arrived, a couple of weeks ago, I charged it and as a result of reading the reviews I had to check-up on it and to my relief it is still holding a full charge.

Sorry to have to say this, but having bought 3 extra of this battery and expecting to have ample back-up power for extended time shooting in the field, I was sorely disappointed that only one of the 3 held charge and then only for one or two charges. All three batteries were disposed of rather unceremoniously in an unnamed 3rd. World country. My paramilitary guide wanted to use them for target practice.

This power 2000 1700mAh battery will not keep a charge for more than two weeks so before you take your camera out make sure you check your battery as it will more than likly be dead...GET A NIKON BATTERY YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH NIKON...

It provides 19 shots (frames) per second on my D300 battery grip. More juice... more pictures.

I purchased two of these batteries first one lasted for 3 mos. paid handling fee to manufacturer and had replaced. Now both batteries do not accept a charge, they show fully charged but when put into my D200 they show no bars and camera will not function. They are about 11 mos old. Save your money pay a little more and buy Nikon original

Bought this with our camera as a back-up in June of 2010 and by February of 2011 it does not work. It shows fully charged but it will not work in my camera.

Bought 2 with my Nikon 300s in December 09. Both do no longer load in June 2010. The original from Nikon had same usage, storage and loading and works without problem.

I mainly use this product as a back-up. I am happy to know that if I am in a bind and am in need of an extra battery, I know that I have it. I really don't have anything bad to say about this product.

I like to buy off brand batteries when possible, I find them to be just as good as name brand, only had a problem once because Nikon added a chip to prevent generic Batteries on one of my pro cameras

I have not used this specific battery for very long. Currently it works well with the D300 battery pack.
