Bought two of this brand. Both stopped working after a few months. When they go bad, they go bad quick with no warning. One day hundreds of pictures to a charge. Next day maybe 10, and it wont fully recharge.

Seems to last as long as OEM and was a lot cheaper.

I needed an extra battery and the first one I received would indicate that it was fully charged yet it would not operate my 60D. Adorama was great and very prompt in exchanging it for another battery just like it and the second one does great with no problems and holds a charge for extended usage.

In researching my purchase, one of the most troubling reports was poor fit (having to pry the battery out of the camera) with some LP-E6 clones. I was buying a battery grip and decided if the power 2000 batteries did not fit the camera body well, I would use them only in the BG. I'm happy to report that I can tell no difference between the way these insert and drop free from the body and the Canon LP-E6 that came with my 7D. They do seem to last longer than the Canon battery as well.

Great for everyday use...would not recommend for travelers who are from a power source for extended periods

I charged this battery and didn't have any problems. But I honestly haven't used it in the camera so cannot comment on how long it last or anything like that. i am hoping it will work good, but we will see.

Great little backup insurance to keep in your camera bag. I own 2 of these batteries and use them in 2 different Canon 60D bodies with no problems in fit or the camera recognizing the battery level and use. It doesn't seem to last as long as the Canon but for the price point I personally won't complain about getting 2 batteries for the price of 1 Canon OEM! We always run the battery completely down in between charges and so far we average anywhere from 400-800 shots (depending on auto focus use, video, LCD review, uploading, etc) before having to recharge. I would definitely recommend it for the extra battery!

Using it to power Canon's 60D EOS camera w/IS-USM lens. It's Rated just a bit higher than Canon's own battery in terms of power, but my initial use of this battery resulted in a loss of (an indicated) 51% of it's charge in less than 1 Hour of ON/Off use. Since then, it's maintaining an indicated 39% of it's charge for a much longer period of time. Could be a "fluke". I charged it initially before it's 1st. use. Once the charge is depleted, I'll recharge it and see if it performs differently. I plan to purchase a 2nd. OEM (Canon) replacement anyway, so it's not too much of a concern.

The Canon battery I purchased at the same time is still doing fine. It remains to be seen if the Canon battery will last twice as long (since it was almost twice the price).

I use this as my back up battery in my Canon 7d. I've found that it doesn't hold charge as long as the original Canon battery but then it doesn't cost nearly as much as a Canon battery does either. You get what you pay for! If/when my original Canon battery fails, I'll replace it with another Canon battery but for a backup battery this Flashpoint battery is sufficient.

This is my first purchase of this brand of battery, and so I may not be qualified to give an accurate assessment of its long-distance performance, since I've only had them a short while. In the past, I had used LENMAR products, but the distributor no longer carries that brand. I had NO problems w/ the LENMAR brand, contrary to some published reports. So far, I've NOT had any problems w/ these POWER 2000 units. Time will tell, I suppose.....

This and BATTERY PACK brand does not work for moore then 10 or so shots. It is not reconised by the camera, so there is no knowledge of how much power you have left. These 2 brands are not worth ten cents, in plain English, I got riped off. I am a good custemer and have my friends buy from them. BUY CANON ONLY!!!! CheatedHoward [@]

Canon now has a chip in their batteries to better ensure charge information is passed to the camera. Unfortunately it also means that cheap batteries like this won't work in Canon's charger. In other words, you'll need to buy an additional third-party charger for your 5D Mark II or your 7D. These chargers seem to be cheap and plentiful. Still you'd want to know that before you bought this battery that it isn't compatible with Canon's modern chargers.

Description and packaging looked good, but beyond that it was a lost cause. Attempted to charge in 7D wall charger. Never got past 3 quick flashing lights. When placed in the camera...no charge. No better than a small black brick. Can only hope this was a lemon, but as so many others have said..."If your going to spend the kind of money you did on a 7D, pony up and get the OEM battery. The difference is well worth it".
