Shopper : How many hours does this battery last?ANTHONY T : About 1.5hrs with the LCD screen on and not much use of the zoom. If you close the screen and use the viewfinder you get much longer 3+hrs. recording time, long enough to record a HS football game, I switch to a fresh battery at 1/2 time out of habit, but I have recorded the entire game on one battery when I loaned my 2nd battery to another parent recording the game.KEVIN P : 8 hours

Tried No Name brand in place of Sony

The battery fit the camera and took a charge. Have not put it to the test yet. Sure hope it works as well as the original Sony battery.
