Tried No Name brand in place of Sony

The battery fit the camera and took a charge. Have not put it to the test yet. Sure hope it works as well as the original Sony battery.

I have always been leary of off-brand batteries because I have heard horror stories about them ruining equiptment, but I have always had good luck with Adorama. I thought I'd give this one a try and I'm extremely pleased with it. Battery life is double that of the one that came with my Handicam.
