The unique acid-free coating of this high-quality canvas produces the highest D-Max of any matte canvas on the market today. This expanded color gamut results in more vibrant, highly saturated images that truly pop. Compatible with both dye and pigment-based inks, this canvas works seamlessly with thermal or piezo printers, ensuring universal compatibility.
The double weaved poly/cotton base is easily stretched and, when coated with Premier Art Eco Print Shield, will not crack, making it ideal for mounting on stretcher bars. This 100% acid-free poly/cotton canvas, when used with long-life pigmented ink sets, promises longevity for many generations, under proper framing and display conditions.
Engineered for stability, from the poly/cotton base to the acid-free coating, this canvas is currently being tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research for image permanence. Previous PremierArt products using the same technology have scored extremely well in WIR testing, indicating a promising future for this canvas.
For the longest lasting print, the canvas must be either framed under glass or sealed with a protective coating. PremierArt Eco Print Shield has been specially formulated for this canvas and will significantly increase the life of the image, depending on the ink set used.
