The The unit features a convenient 1/4" phone jack input, accommodating movie projectors and similar monaural A/V equipment, including older tube-type gear. Its built-in 16-ohm, 5-watt load resistor and high-frequency filter work in tandem to protect the amplifier output stage from damage and reduce hiss, enhancing the overall audio experience.For precise volume adjustments, the AVP1V is equipped with a 10k© linear input level control, complete with a 0 to 10 calibrated knob, allowing users to fine-tune audio input levels with accuracy. Additionally, the left and right RCA phono jack line inputs are cleverly designed to resistively mix to monaural, which is particularly useful for devices like CD players and cassette recorders.
