Its comprehensive design ensures audio interfacing and isolation with a wide frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz and low distortion, delivering high-quality sound across various applications.Equipped with a 1/4" phone jack input, the AVP1V caters to monaural A/V equipment, including movie projectors. It includes a built-in 16-ohm, 5-watt load resistor to simulate speaker impedance, safeguarding the amplifier output stage from potential damage. Additionally, a high-frequency filter is in place to minimize hiss from older, noisy electronics.The wallplate features a 10k© linear input level control, complete with a calibrated knob ranging from 0 to 10, allowing for precise volume adjustments. The dual RCA phono jack line inputs are resistively mixed to monaural, which is ideal for connecting CD players and cassette recorders. These inputs can also function as recording outputs for devices connected to the Speaker Input Jack.For optimal signal integrity, the AVP1V incorporates a DBT-1 transformer that provides a floating 150-ohm output to a user-friendly screw-type barrier strip, simplifying the wiring installation process without the need for crimp-on terminals.
