PremierArt Watercolor paper is a Bright White paper made from a cold press mould that provides a very textured surface to the paper. This textured surface is ideal for fine art and fine art photography. The high resolution coating has an excellent D-Max which expands the tonal range of the paper, resulting in a higher color gamut than any other art paper on the market today. Watercolor paper is made from alpha cellulous wood pulp and is acid and lignin free and is buffered for added stability, for an economical alternative to cotton papers. The paper is alkaline buffered insuring the longevity of the paper. This photo grade watercolor paper has a bright white coating that enhances the D-Max and color gamut of the paper, making it especially suitable for fine art photography. Watercolor paper is compatible with both matte black and photo black inks, although matte black ink is recommended if a high D-max is needed. This paper is conveniently available in two weights PremierArt Print Shield is recommended to reduce the scuffing associated with matte black inks and has the added benefit of significantly extending the life of the image.
