This subwoofer is more than just a companion for the PreSonus CDL-series full-range loudspeakers. It's a powerhouse in its own right, delivering a clear, accurate, and powerful low-end punch. With 2,000 watts (peak) of Class D power, a direct radiating, ported enclosure, and a custom 18-inch low-frequency transducer with a 4-inch voice coil, the CDL Sub18 ensures detailed low-frequency performance audio for both mobile and installed applications.
The CDL Sub18 is all about versatility. Its variable lowpass filter allows you to accurately dial in the crossover transition between the subwoofer and full-range system. It also features two DSP presets for extended low-frequency performance and a more natural response, catering to a variety of applications.
The CDL Sub18 also comes with onboard polarity invert for cardioid array creation and a Mono Mode function for simplifying cabling multiple mono subs in a stereo system. Like its full-range CDL-series counterparts, the CDL Sub18 is housed in a rugged, tour-grade enclosure. It's equipped with a locking IEC power connector, M10 rigging points, integrated castor provisions, and ground-stacking provisions, making it a versatile choice for a wide array of mobile and install applications.
