The FLASH5A 5" 100W 2-Way Active Loudspeaker from Proel delivers powerful audio from a compact and lightweight package, ideal for nearfield and midfield monitoring applications. The injection-reinforced high-density polypropylene cabinet provides excellent durability and keeps weight to a minimum. The cabinet houses a 5" front-firing woofer and a 1" soft dome tweeter to provide crisp, natural audio with a wide frequency response. The tweeter also has an elliptical waveguide to provide a wide dispersion pattern.

The speaker has a bi-amplified design that offers 100W of continuous power for a strong, distortion-free performance. The rear panel has XLR, 1/4", and RCA inputs, allowing you to connect a variety of sound devices. The rear panel also offers a level control to adjust speaker volume, and a ground-lift switch to eliminate hum caused by ground loops.

A nearfield/midfield switch lets you switch between 2 different EQ presets for nearfield use as a computer or desktop speaker, or midfield use as a musician/DJ monitor, installation speaker, or live speaker. The speaker also has a voltage selector for international use. The FLASH5A uses natural convection cooling for reliable long-term operation. It can be floor or desk mounted, and also has a set of 3 M6 fly points for suspension mounting.
