The HPx2800 Rackmount Stereo 2 x 1000 Watts Power Amplifier from Proel provides professional-quality audio in a compact 2RU rackmount chassis. The amplifier has Class-H output stage circuitry to provide top-level power and efficiency. The amplifier can operate in stereo, bridged, or parallel modes for terrific versatility.

The rear panel offers XLR, 1/4", and RCA inputs, as well as Speakon and binding post outputs. These connectors allow you to connect to a wide variety of sound systems and devices. The amplifier has internal protection circuitry that includes AC low power, DC, thermal, short circuit, VHF, and a clip limiter for terrific reliability. Indicator LEDs provide you with visual status updates.

The amp has a selectable LPN (low pass notch) filter that improves bass response for more punch and greater dynamics, while simultaneously protecting connected speakers from over-excursion. The amplifier has variable-speed cooling fans with front-to-rear airflow and removable dust filters to keep internal components running smoothly and reliably. The switch-mode power supply increases efficiency and keeps weight down, ideal for portable systems.
