This board is crystal clear. The effects are nice and clean. The layout is very nice. Compression right on the board and it works well ! I purchased the board for performing with guitar and singing. I have another setup for my DAW but it came with the free CUBASE download and the USB interface so I may tinker with that as well. Yamaha is a great company. I have owned many keyboards over the years and the last one standing is my first keyboard, a DX7. Still sounds amazing. I also play a Yamaha B flat trumpet. Yamaha does everything very well.

The decision to get this mixer was an easy one as I already have a MG 10/2 non USB mixer as well as an EMX 66 powered mixer that I have been using trouble free for over 10 years. It is everything I expected it to be. After owning many different Yamaha products over the years, my opinion is that they don't make junk. Everything made by this company, be it a piece of electronic gear, an instrument, or a motor, is very good to excellent.

I use it for home recording. Just for fun. Good electric and acoustic-electric tone using EQ and reverb in the mixer. I use Audacity for DAW software.

I am thoroughly impressed by the quality and layout of this device. I use it for personal home recordings and as an audio interface where I plug in anything going to and from my computer. I spent a great deal of time researching mixers comparing options and this is overall the best one in its category. I've had it for about four months and use it every day with no problems at all. It's easy to use and easy on the eyes. I don't use the sound effects much, but it can be useful if you need them and you don't have a computer for some reason. I highly recommend it.

I've been using a pci audiophile 24/96 ive tried a couple PreSonus interfaces but just not enough power or adjustments. This is the first product to make me believe and switch to an external interface. Beautiful piece, solid built, great sounding, very convenient. I couldn't be happier and all at a great price! As a Karaoke Dj I needed a product that reacts quickly to constant setting changes. The presets amd overall rapid response smplifies jumping from classic crooner to a country ballad follwed by a little heavy metal rock freeing me to concentrate on settting the singers sound. TThe MG10XU helps here too and my singers constantly tell me how great my sound is indoors and out. I credit this guy as my secret weapon for superior qualifty sound.

I bought this to help improve the quality of my band's live recordings (mostly rehearsals) and to use with cubase to capture quick and dirty scratches. This little numer is a BEAST for it's size! I was really impressed with the sound quality the first time I live-mixed with it - for the money, it's really quite impressive. It's made light work of my creative workload to be sure.
