Godox LC 500 works great. Light is well built, bright and battery life is good. The only issue I have it doesn?t come with a remote to adjust and control power and settings! ?? Majority of YouTube video reviews on unboxing the light sticks came with the remote. Not anymore!!! Not sure why Godox and Adorama stop including the much needed remote. Also you can?t buy the remote through adorama! They did sell me and told me the remote for the LC 500 R would work with LC 500. Not compatible!!! So after searching for the original remote RC-A5 it seems other third parties sell them for double the price. Adorama and Godox need to include remote! For that reason I Can?t give a 5 star! Hope I find remote to control my LC 500?s. Love lights! Hate it doesn?t come with remote! Blinding and time consuming while adjusting lights!!! Would highly recommend with remote not so much without!!!

I use 2 of these to photograph headshots on location, basically I use it as clamshell lighting. Works perfect. In studio I use the the lights on the outside and use a octabox and strip box for the top and bottom to create the square lighting setting. Great alternative to the more expensive westcott lights. I also use some tracing paper to soften up the light a little more.

Love this! It's easy to handle and quite big so you can light a large area with it. Great price for something that's so flexible in use. The one thing I wish it had was a removable battery so that you can order extra batteries and replace them as needed.

Great for light painting and use as a continuous light! I've enjoyed using it so much, I recommended we get one for work for video projects. I've been using it mostly for long exposures light painting cars and am very happy with this purchase. I can only imagine the RGB version is just as good, though I haven't tried it yet.

I got this when it was on sale and its worth every penny. It’s much cheaper than other light stick brands but it’s amazing! The fact the it comes with a warmer side and cooler side is super useful! It’s extremely bright at its highest setting. Only thing I wish was that it allowed you to dim it past the 20%. The dimming setting go from 20%-100%.

I've been using them for video vlogging. Lighting is very nice and makes my video quality even better than before. Portable and I am looking forward to using it for low light or night photography. Even indoor portraiture without the need for large setups.

It is a really powerful led light that can be used for both photo and video. The barn doors aren’t that amazing though and there are a couple of issues with it. For one, the light spill out the back is an issue for some although it didn’t hinder me too much. Also, the way that I have to take off the barn doors and flip it 180 to use it on the opposite panel wastes time and is somewhat annoying. Otherwise, it’s great! I wish it came with replaceable batteries so that I could continue using this for a few years.

Good size, easy to use. The barn doors are doing great job. I'm not sure if I like that daylight color is from one side, and the warmer light s on the other but this is the only negative thing I can think of so far.

This is a well made constant light source mostly for indoor photography. This is similar to the Westcott Ice Light but better designed and about a stop more powerful and about a third the price. There are 2 color temperatures, 3300, and around 5500. If you want tungsten, press a button and you get tungsten, the same for daylight. The barn doors work better then the ice light. I have both but use this more because it’s easier to use.

Works well, light is fairly soft with diffuse panel. easy to handle. I like that you have both daylight and tungsten color temp on opposite sides. Barb doors are effective to control the spread of light. Remote is nice touch, though I haven't needed to use that yet. Screw sockets on both top and bottom, so multiple units could be attached together. I would recommend this.
