Questions & Answers

Shopper : how do I put the filter on?RANDALL W : It screws in. Make sure threads are facing camera and you got the right size! JOHN H : typically all filters have fine threads that correspond to threads on the end of the lens barrel. Simply align the two sets of threads and screw the filter onto the lens. You may have to try several times and don't be in a hurry you might cross thread the filter and cause it to bind up and be difficult to disengage. Also do not tighten too tight, you will need to exchange the filter for another type if you are using neutral density filters or some other. Never install more than one filter on your lens. as it will cause vignetting.MARK R : The filter threads on to the lens clockwise. Once it is secure then you turn it clockwise to adjust. When adjusting the filter do not turn it counter clockwise, Because that is how you turn it to take it off.ROBERT L : It screws on to the front of the lens you are usingNICHOLE S : The filter screws on the end of your lens. You are able to stack filters on top of each other, for example, a UV filter and a polarizing filter. The lens cap fits nicely over the filter. I hope this helps answer your question! Thank you!DEBORAH C : It screws onto the end of your lens. Look for the threads and carefully screw onto the end of the lens. Make sure the lens you are using is threaded for 52mm.DANA P : it screws on the end of the lens
Shopper : what cameras does it fit?JOSEPH B : This particular filter will fit any 52mm lens that you have.WAYNE G : I have Nikon 5100DIRCK D : It's not the camera but the lens on the camera. This filter will work with any make or model of lens with a filter thread of 52mm (this is usually indicated in the specifications for the lens.)TIM S : This filter will fit any camera with a 52mm lens front. I have used it on multiple manufacture's lenses. If you want to improve your images, get one.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?BILL R : great price, good glassROD M : The Pro Optic Pro 52mm Circular Polarizer digital filter is very good and I use on the Olympus© 50 mm f/2.0 macro lens.

My opinion don't count or it shouldn't

Seems good but my opinion don't mean much as this is the first filter I've ever used so nothing to compare to

Worst filter I ever used

I purchased three of these (ProOptic 52mm CPL) when they were super cheap. It is literally a variable sepia filter. They have NO polarizing effect at all... no glare reduction or enhanced saturation. At best, there is no effect, but when rotated the image becomes brown with flat contrast. I've been an avid photographer since the 1980s, so I know what I'm talking about.

Not for me

The quality is great, but I do not like the having to turn it to find the less darker filter option. I would up screwing it right off the lens and almost dropped it. I dont like it at all.

It's a decent filter for my use case

Does a decent job for a brand I don't use nor hear about often. Can't go wrong with a filter. If I don't want it, I just take it off. To be fair, I use this on my moondog labs so I cannot say much on real lenses on dslr or mirrorless cams.

Good value filter option

This is a really good value filter. A nice option with your new lens purchase before you decide to do more research and commit to much larger expense.

A good filter at a good price

Hey it is a filter. Do not know if it is really water repellent (no way I want to test this intentionally)( but it works as I would expect

Thin and well made.

I use the Pro Optic Pro circular On a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 lens. In the short while that I’ve had it, the filter seems to do the job. It is nice and thin and did not contribute to vignetting. Solidly constructed.

Don't leave home without it

It's much more convenient and faster when changing lenses to have the Circular polarizer (and UV) on all lenses.
