Honestly, there?s not that much to say, other than it?s a lens cap. It goes on smoothly with no hitching, and though it?s plastic, it feels solid. I?ve held other caps that felt brittle and this one certainly isn?t. It also locks up tight against the flange on the lens with a really good seal. All in all, great product and super affordable! I own 8 or 9 of these and they have served me well.

The ProOptic Rear Lens Caps for Nikon F Mount are identical to the old style Nikon LF-1 Rear Lens Caps with one exception, they do not have the Nikon logo. They are excellent rear lens caps and are an outstanding buy for the price. I keep them handy as spares for my collection of Nikon F Mount Lenses. The old style Nikon LF-1 Rear Lens Caps are no longer manufactured and are extremely hard to find in excellent condition. They have been replaced by the Nikon LF-4 Rear Lens Cap.

Works well. The only issue I've had is that is can sometime be so tight on a M42 to K mount adapter that is will unscrew the adapter. But I take that as an advantage as it means these are tight to the lenses I use them on.
