The attaching and detaching to and from the stack could get tedious.URSA D : Yes, I have three filters that I always carry and they can all go together in these caps. They all screw together, so you'll have the end cap, then each filter screwed into each other, then the other cap to top it off. I really like these caps, and they are very convenient to carry. Just one caveat, don't screw your filters into this too tight as the small edges make it hard to get a grip to loosen them if they are too tight. If you store these in a secure place though you don't really need to even tighten them that much. They are very sturdy.YVONNE B : Yes. I have at least 5 77mm filters stored with one set of caps. One cap is put at each end and the filters screw into each other in the middle. I use a lot of these filter stack caps. Sometime I buy the tow but use on the back half to protect a filter than has a snap-cap on the other end. The threads have alway been clean and smooth. Good product.

ProOptic Filter Caps

I wanted to make sure that my neutral density filter had a little more protection than just sliding it into the mesh pocket of a pouch. I absolutely love the ability of being able to stack more than one filter on top of each other. The sturdiness of the metal case provides ample protection for the glass filters which is comforting to know when you realize the expense of replacing a filter. I am more than happy with the quality of this product and recommend using the caps to provide added protection when storing the filters.

Protects My Filter

A little more trouble to use than a filter pouch, but it doesn't add the lint that has to be brushed off. More importantly, good filters are not inexpensive and this is a rugged solution to keeping them scratch-free.
