Bought this for my Minolta X-700 50mm 1.7 lens. It's perfect! Snaps on great. Easy to take off and definitely won't fall off the lens while walking around.

Of the 7 Minolta lenses I've purchased lately only 3 came with lens caps. I tried a few different ones and found this ProOptic snap-on cap as a step below their center pinch caps. It fits fine, it's just a bit tougher to remove from the lens easily.

Its a lens cap! Its a lens cap? Its a lens cap. I don't know what you're expecting but if you're hoping for a decent quality lens cap that's exactly what this is. It doesn't pop off willy nilly and it protects the filter, or lens if you're a masochist.

Great replacement for the inevitable time when the original gets lost. Always good to have a spare on hand, just in case, especially when the price is so affordable. No brand name on it, but I don't really care, it does the job!

I ordered this lens cap because it has a loop to secure the cap to the camera with a string. The caps that came do not have the loop to help from losing it.
