ProOptic Pro Optic 1.25" 90° Mirror Diagonal with Dielectic Coatings

After doing some research on dielectic coated 1.25" diagonals I decided on the Pro Optic offering & purchased one. It came in a very well padded box with a foam cutout specific to this component which is great for storage, & its exterior finish I liked in particular due to the sides having the rubber placed on them making for easy handling & less chance of dropping it when removing or installing in my scope. After testing it against my cheaper low end mirror diagonals I could see an improvment visually. I did my test on a quater moon & did a bright star test, its well collimated. The machining for filters is done perfectly & my filters screw on with ease with no excess play & the interior is blackened to help against stray light. Its well machined & fits very nicely into my refractors diagonal receiver. This diagonal is a very nice upgrade that won't disappoint anyone in need of a quality diagonal for their telescope. This also comes in a 2" size if your telescope is a larger model & accepts that size. The clamp ring & the large size of the clamp knob is what sold me on this product first, and after actually testing it I was extremely pleased with its overall build & with it visually thru the eyepiece. This diagonal is a keeper, other items I own in my Astronomy hobby list may come & go but Ill be keeping this component permenantly.

[...] A good value compared to similar diagonals sold elsewhere. Inner housing nicely blackened to prevent reflections, large thumbscrew to hold eyepieces, no smudges on mirrors and shipped in a foam padded box.
