Appears to be a good one, but doesn't fit the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens
Looks like a good lens hood/shade, but I will not ever find out. It's advertised as fitting the Canon EF 50mm f:1.8 STM lens, but it doesn't fit. It may be a replacement for the Canon ES62 lens hood/shade, but for sure it doesn't fit the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Compact for bag
Great product. The hood is easy to apply; as it is compact, it can be packed away in bag without any issues without disassembly.

This Hood Is A Must-Have
Not only is this hood great for reducing the effects of side lighting, it provides protection for the glass without using a filter.

A Great fixed cover for your lens.
Works as advertised. No vignetting. Has great value as a cover for the lens and shade when necessary. Looking forward to better pics with this old 50mm.

Works great.
Fit perfectly on EF50 f/1.8 II lens, came in handy the first day it arrived. shooting slightly into the sun. Also may protect the lens from dropping. Very happy with it. I have one for all my lenses now.

Great value, high quality!
This is a basic lens staple product. The quality is quite good and I am pleased with the precision of its manufacture. It is a screw-on hood and may inhibit the use of some filters, but it seems to be fine with a UV filter in place.

Great lens hood
I needed a good, inexpensive lens hood for my 50mm 1.8 canon lens. This was a great price & works great for what I needed it for. Adorama always has the best selection of new & used at the best prices!
