Great

Compared to every other lens hood (mind you, all of the others are name brand), this lens hood doesn't fit well at all. It doesn't click into place, and it is difficult to put on. It's extremely low build quality - so much so that the first time I put it on, as I was rotating it the thread on the lens cut into part of the plastic. Also, it flairs way more than expected.

I'll keep in in case of rain or absolute necessity, but compared to all of my other lens hoods, its not great.

Why pay so much for the canon brand? This is the same hood and I saved some money too.
