High Quality item - read for application

I ordered this because it was a metal threaded lens hood. The focal length was not specified, so I took a chance. For 35mm, DX or FX formats, it is only useful down to 35mm focal length. It vignettes at any wider focal length. That means it is not useful to me for my Nikon 28-85mm zoom lens. Any other lens I have with a 62mm thread size is even wider.
