The 18-inch Z-Clip set functions as an aluminum French cleat system designed to handle the weight and precision alignment of heavy studio acoustic panels. By interlocking one bar attached to the wall with a matching inverted bar on the panel, it creates a secure, hidden structural mount that sits flush against the drywall. The 18-inch wide track distributes weight evenly across studs and provides a generous lateral margin of error, allowing you to slide the panel horizontally left or right a few inches to achieve perfect spacing without unmounting the hardware.
