A must-have.

When moving from 35MM SLR's to digital mirrorless cameras in 4/3 mount, you end up with a lot of larger filters. This type of step-up rings lets me use the older larger filters. Adorama has the best selection of top quality and reasonable priced step-up rings.

Smooth threads!

I have a really nice rubber hood with a 55mm circumferance. This adapter helps me use it on my 50mm 1.8 AFD and now it looks like a classy piece of glass.
