Very functional step-up ring

Excellent product. Well built.

This metal step-up ring is metal, well made and nicely threaded.  It does what it is supposed to with no fuss. I have found one can bind the threads if one tightens it too much (...but I always carry filter wrenches...) but that has happened only twice, and both times I was in a hurry and not thinking.  Barely finger tight, no problems.  A SMALL touch of silicone grease - smear it on, wipe with tissue afterwards - has prevented lock-ups.  The only other thing I have noticed is that the black coating seems to scratch a bit easily, but that doesn't affect the function.  Overall I am happy with the product.

Great adapter

Have used the ProOptic step up rings for three years and have never had any problems mounting them on a lens or mounting filters on the step up ring.
