Logistically it makes sense as well. Instead of carrying multiple speciality filters for each lense, I can just carry one of each speciality filter and adapt them to a variety of lenses.

Makes good sense

In place of buying filters for each size lense the adapters work just fine. I can use any filters on any of my lenses which over 35 years of shooting are many many different sizes. I color code mine so I can select the one (s) I need quickly.

What a clever idea!!! saw these Only on Adorama!

Will be in Yellowstone Natl park and Grand Tetons week of the total solar eclipse so purchasing a Thousand Oaks Solar Filter. Avoided buying 2 as they are not cheap then I saw this!!! so got it to use on both my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 which takes way better photos and has RAW, and my Nikon P900 superzoom, solar lense is larger to avoid the vignetting on the 62mm. I checked the other sites (Amazon, B&H) only Adorama carried this and I am overjoyed!
