The Power Star LiFE-HD is equipped with a custom 12.8-volt, 20-amp hour Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack. This pack is renowned for its high capacity and rapid charge or discharge capability. Unlike other brands, the PSC LiFE battery pack incorporates built-in cell balancing electronics, ensuring a longer battery lifespan.

The system is built around a highly integrated 500-watt switching power supply, with a fully filtered AC input for common mode and differential noise, harmonic content, and spikes. A built-in current limiting function offers additional protection under extreme conditions. The charger is designed to provide clean, quiet charging power, eliminating potential noise issues in the field.

The DC path of the Power Star LiFE-HD is engineered to deliver clean, quiet, reliable DC power for all your audio and video equipment. Each of the ten outputs, including two 8 Amp outputs and eight 3.5 Amp outputs, has its own dedicated output filter with both audio and RF frequency filters. Each output is also individually Poly-fuse protected and monitored via easy-to-read front panel LED indication.
