The power of Active Integration
Your needs are unique. PreSonus AI systems are designed to address your individual requirements. With several control options and exclusive software integration features, you can accomplish more and have exactly the control and capabilities you need. The StudioLive CS18AI connects to RM mixers with a single CAT 5 Ethernet cable. That enables Active Integration with PreSonus software including UC Surface control software for iPad, Windows 8 touchscreen and Mac computers; iPhone and iPod management of personal monitor mixes with QMix-AI; and direct Capture control for live recording and virtual soundchecks.
Filter DCAs are better than layers
They have never liked the complexity that comes with navigating your mix using channel layers. That's why StudioLive mixers have traditionally featured a one-to-one channel configuration, with no layers. While the StudioLive CS18AI does support classic layer navigation, it also features their unique Filter DCAs for controlling and navigating your mix. The StudioLive CS18AI is the first live mix system that lets you control 64 channels from a 19-inch, rack-mountable control surface. Filter DCA groups bring the elements of the mix to you. Rather than trying to remember which layer the lead guitar is on, simply select your guitar DCA Filter and you'll have access to your guitar channels. Filter DCAs take concepts of DCAs and view groups and combine them into an intuitive workflow designed to make your life easier when you're in the heat of a live mix. No other mixing system can offer such compact and affordable mixing system that's so easy to use.
Mix in touch-sensitive techno-color
Every aspect of the CS18AI was designed to help you mix with ease and reliability. RGB Select buttons make it easier to identify channels, layers and mixes based on color. True touch-sensitive faders know when your finger makes contact so the fader will never fight you and you can experience real automation functionality in the studio. The CS18AI lights your way through mixing with 146 illuminated buttons; 16 high-res, 64x96 pixel scribble strips; a touch-sensitive, 4.3-inch (109 mm) LCD display; and 16 11-segment LED level ladders. If you need to control it, it lights up.
The perfect DAW controller for Studio One 3
With a simple Ethernet connection, the StudioLive CS18AI becomes the control for Studio One, giving you an instant studio upgrade and closing the loop between studio and stage. Now you can get the performance of a big mixing console in a compact controller with a natural feel. Other DAW controllers give you some faders and generic controls that try to do too much with too little. The CS18AI is a complete mix controller that doesn't skimp on functionality. You get all the classic mixer controls and workflows while still keeping the footprint compact.
Built-in 4x2 networked AVB audio
Through the power and flexibility of audio networking, the StudioLive CS18AI can send and receive audio channels across long distances with just a single Ethernet cable. Use the two mic and two line inputs as sources for the talkback, digital return or networked sources for Channels 31 and 32 on StudioLive RM mixers. The two returns are shared with the monitor line outputs and headphone output and can be sourced from any output of the RM mixers, including the Solo bus, main mix or any aux mixes.
Fly first class at your PreSonus dealer
A StudioLive CS18AI and a StudioLive RM Active Integration rack mixer are an unbeatable combination in terms of value and sheer mixing power.
StudioLive RM16AI Mixer
Rack-mount convenience, AI power and total recall
Based on the StudioLive AI-series mix engine and controlled with battle-ready UC Surface software for Mac, Windows and iOS, the StudioLive RM32AI and RM16AI 32-channel, 25-bus rack-mount Active Integration digital mixers are scalable, compact and 100 percent recallable.
More powerful touch control than the competition
PreSonus UC Surface control software for Mac, Windows and iPad was carefully designed for intuitive and quick performance in a live mixing environment (but also serves well in the studio). It lets you take advantage of large-format Windows 8 touch computers. And it gives you the big-mixer power of Filter DCAs.
Power of Active Integration
StudioLive RM-series mixers are based on Active Integration (AI), a complete, networked, tightly integrated hardware/software ecosystem in which every touch point in the system interacts to enhance the user experience and solve practical problems in ways not previously possible.
Actively integrated software
PreSonus StudioLive RM-series mixers are tightly integrated with a suite of free, state-of-the-art software that helps you mix and record better and have more fun doing it. No other mixer near this price class offers comparable software.
Wi-Fi and wired networking plus built-in AVB
PreSonus StudioLive RM-series digital mixers' Active Integration technology includes powerful real-time, direct, wired and Wi-Fi remote control over a variety of features, using free Mac, Windows and iOS software. Plus you can take advantage of industry-standard AVB and Dante protocols.
A gigantic console in a few rack spaces
If a StudioLive RM mixer were an analog console, it would have 4-foot-long channel strips packed with knobs and buttons or it would require a massive outboard rack of expensive signal processors! Instead, all that processing fits in three (RM16AI) or four (RM32AI) rack spaces under software control.
Effects you'd expect from a $600 stand-alone processor. Or four
Two 32-bit stereo effects engines on dedicated buses, loaded with reverbs so rich and detailed that you feel like you're there. Two more with delay effects that you can really use. Use all four without compromising other resources.
Dedicated I/O
View the front of a StudioLive RM-series rack-mount mixer and you'll see a straightforward jackfield with XLR channel inputs, XLR mix outputs and other important connections.
The sound is pure PreSonus
Getting a great-sounding mix depends in part on how good the mixer's components are and how well the algorithms perform. That's especially true with RM Series analog (but digitally recallable) XMAX mic preamps.
Complete store and recall - instantly
With UC Surface, it's very quick and easy to save all of your StudioLive RM settings for quick setup and recall - unlike some digital mixers.
Safe, sane and secure
Powerful networking and wireless remote control is great-but what if someone tries to hack into your Wi-Fi system and take control of the show or that jokester bass player tries to use his iPhone to mess with the lead s
