While the StudioLive 32R Series III stage box and rack mixer may seem like a simple piece of equipment, it's actually a powerful partner for your StudioLive Series III console/recorder. This device can function as a straightforward stage box or a combination stage box and monitor mixer. With the ability to network using AVB, the StudioLive 32R can be connected to a Series III front-of-house console with a single lightweight CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable. This eliminates the need for heavy, expensive copper snakes and the signal degradation that comes with long analog cable runs.The StudioLive 32R is equipped with local inputs and outputs, channels and buses, networking connections, recording capabilities, signal processing, scenes and presets, and digital features. It also comes with actively integrated software. The preamps and phantom power of the StudioLive 32R can be remotely controlled from your networked Series III console. In stage box + monitor mixer mode, the StudioLive 32R serves as an excellent networked stage box and a full-blown monitor mixer. It offers more processing and mixing power than any mixer in its class, all packed into a compact two rackspaces (2U). The StudioLive 32R Series III stage box and rack mixer is the most powerful rackmount digital mixer in its class. It's the result of ten years of R&D and is fully recallable, including remote-controlled XMAX preamps. Despite its extensive features, the StudioLive Series III rack mixers maintain PreSonus' legendary ease of use while allowing you to customize their workflow and operations in software to fit your work style. The StudioLive sound is better than ever, featuring third-generation Fat Channel processing, re-engineered from the ground up, and vintage-style EQs and compressors. With built-in AVB networking, multitrack recording via USB 2.0 and AVB, onboard stereo recording to SD Card, and a complete suite of software, this device is a mixing and recording powerhouse. The StudioLive 32R Series III rack mixer is network-ready and offers a choice of recording methods. It comes equipped with an AVB Ethernet connection that allows you to network multiple StudioLive Series III mixers and compatible computers and stream up to 55 channels of audio to and from a Mac or Windows PC. The StudioLive 32R Series III rack mixer offers simple but versatile audio connections. All 32 channel inputs use locking combo jacks to accept microphone- or line-level signals. It also includes a pair of unbalanced RCA jacks as additional inputs for Channels 31 and 32, making it easy to connect to smartphones, media players, and other consumer audio sources. The StudioLive 32R Series III rack mixer delivers superior sound quality that you'd expect from an expensive studio console.
