About Platinum Tools Termination Kit
The EXO ezEX-RJ45 Termination System is the perfect mix of tools for new or experienced installers. You don't want to leave home without these essential tools. This kit includes electrician scissors, cable jacket stripper, EXO Crimp Frame, EXO-EX Die and 10 ezEX44 connectors. All tools and connectors come neatly organized in the Platinum Tools heavy-duty nylon zippered case.
-- EXO Crimp Frame with EXO-EX Die --
The patented EXO Crimp Frame with EXO-EX Die was developed to terminate larger cables and conductors (typically Cat6/6A). EXO Crimp Frame with EXO-EX Die is designed for the ezEX-RJ45 connectors. The ezEX-RJ45 connectors are an RJ45 pass through connector, developed for larger cables and conductors. Integrated Hi-Lo stagger for improved performance, one piece design pass through system. The EXO Crimp Frame has a patented push button lock, ergonomic TPR handles and works with the EZ-RJ45 Die for terminating EZ-RJ45 connectors.

This economical tool strips the cable jacket from Cat5/5e/6 twisted pair cables with professional results. Features a long life blade specifically designed to self-adjust to prevent nicks to the inner conductors. Durable, high impact plastic housing is molded in yellow to make it easy to locate.

Designed for use in electrical, telephone and datacom service applications. The ergonomically designed large ring provides more power while reducing fatigue and wrist strain. Designed to comfortably fit in the power portion of the palm producing a cleaner, quicker cut with less effort. Bottom blade has serrated teeth the full length of the cutting edge to grip the cable/wire. Thru hardened (RC59).
