I've had my Photek background stand for a long time. They are consistently reliable. Like anything overtime, things start to degrade in performance. This stand is built solid and continues to perform well keeping up my backgrounds ranging from muslins to rolled paper. I also purchased the extension kit expanding my background support over 20ft.
A special extension package to increase the system to an 18' width so that even the largest backgrounds can be accommodated. The new extension package includes two 3' extensions plus an additional support stand. The extension package is model number SXT-18.
