A revolutionary concept in light modification design, the ILLUMINATA offers a choice of illumination as brilliant and penetrating as sunlight or as delicate and soft as moonlight.

Equipped with its own universal mounting collar easily fitted to almost any professional light head, the ILLUMINATA projects the light from an area 52 inches (1.32 meters) in diameter from a profile only 16 inches (.5 meter) in depth.

Do not confuse the ILLUMINATA with a softbox. A softbox, by whatever the name, has but a single function. It diffuses the light. That's it.

The ILLUMINATA is for so much more. It's for the times when you need light so intense that it can reveal all the detail the lens was made to see - - or it may be that the light required must have the gentle quality normally obtained only by mirrored window light. All that the ILLUMINATA was designed and engineered for... and so much more!

Four parts make up the ILLUMINATA package: the Universal Mounting Collar; the Shell, with its eight fiberglass ribs already enclosed within its very reflective fabric; its Bounce Reflector, to create truly reflected light; and its own Roundlight Diffuser to form a perfect circle of reflected, diffused light. All of these parts fold easily away into its carry case. Net weight, including mounting collar, is 4.5 pounds (2 kilos).
