Shopper : I see this cable will work with the Plus III, but will it connect on the other end to a Canon Rebel T3i - I imagine to the remote control terminal?RICHARD L : I'm sorry I don;t think I can answer your question, because I have a Canon 60D that has the small plug on the camera. What I can say that in my setup with the Pocket Wizzards Plus 3 is works great for many different applications. Good Luck
Shopper : can this be used with the POCKETWIZARD PLUSIII?JAMES L : Yes, this cable works with the Plus IIIBRENT L : I use them with a remote T1i and they also work with a 60D. I use them with the plus III either in the hot shoe or next to camera while either triggering them with a camera or hand-holding another plus III.

I purchased a PocketWizard Plus X 2 pack. I Got this extra cable recommended by By the Adorama sales person, Julio Figueroa. He had me get this cable that works with my Canon EOS Rebel SL1. When the Pocket came it had a cable. Thanks you Julio because the one that came with the PocketWizard did not work with my Canon and this cable did. Thanks Julio!

Designed exclusively for the Canon Rebel series, the CM-E3-ACC cable enables remote toggling ON/OFF of the camera's prerelease function with the PocketWizard MultiMAX* and new PocketWizard FleXTT5. The new cable plugs into the special sixcontact ACC port of the PocketWizard MultiMAX or the camera port of the new FleXTT5.

Simply pressing a Quad-Triggering Zone button on the transmitting MultiMAX activates the pre-release mode on a remote Rebel-series camera equipped with a MultiMAX or FleXTT5 set to the same Channel and Zone. This allows sports photographers to set up a remote camera hours, or even days before an event and activate it just minutes before it is needed. The Rebel's rechargeable battery will last much longer and the entire event will be captured.

*This Pre-Release remote function is available with MultiMAX units having version 6.XXX or 7.XXX firmware.

How to determine the MulitMAX firmware version:
Switch OFF MultiMAX. Hold down Zone button A and switch the power ON. The LCD will indicate the current firmware installed.
