I recently wanted to enable radio controlled flash triggering using my Sekonic L-758DR. I also wanted to retain the Canon radio system functionality built into the 600EX-RT flashes. By using one Pocket Wizard Plus X connected through this cable to the trigger socket of my Canon 5D3 I am able to trigger the camera shutter using the Sekonic L-758DR and retaining all the funcitonality of the Canon radio system. I do have to say that Pocket Wizard support was not that helpful as I had to come up with this solution on my own. They seemed only interested in selling additional pocket wizards for each flash.

For remotely triggering Canon cameras with a N3 remote shutter release terminal and controlling half-press function using certain PocketWizard radios.

This is a special remote shutter release cable called a Pre-Trigger cable. A pre-trigger cable controls both the half-press and full-press function of your remote camera's shutter release. When a camera is "pre-triggered", it is like holding your camera's shutter release button in the half-pressed or metering/focusing position.

This - ACC cable allows a compatible PocketWizard radio to independently control both half-press and full-press functions.

For remotely triggering Canon cameras equipped with an N3 remote shutter release terminal and controlling half-press function using certain PocketWizard radios.

Cable lengths: 3' (91.5 cm) and 1' (30 cm) Please select length when ordering.
