If for no other reason to purchase this as a redundant power supply for you Mini TT1 or PW III it's worth have the piece of mind in case the batteries start to die (and the III's die quickly when they start to go) I now use this as my primary power supply and keep batteries as my backup.

Love that it eliminates the coin battery that seems to go dead at the most inconvenient times. Also it is the perfect length and angle so that it does not get in the way of any camera operation.

Powering my Pocket Wizard transmitter from my D800 battery eliminates one more worry about changing batteries during a shoot. It's easily hooked up and has worked well since I received it.

The kind of accessory product I like: simple, affordable, and dead-reliable in doing the job it was purchased to do. Love the Pocket Wizard CTL system, but with all the batteries involved it's often difficult to trace the source of a flagging power problem, and the MiniTT1's pancake battery is notorious for dying a premature death (and it's expensive to replace). This cable simply removes one problem source from the diagnostic run-down, and it pays for itself in about 3 battery replacements.
