I have used Pocket Wizards for several years. Pricey compared to competition ( that never existed when I started using PW). You can trust this product.

I have used Pocket Wizards for several years. This purchase was for an additional flash I had purchased. Pocket Wizards are very reliable and have never failed me. I would recommend them for their reliability and consistency.

Pocket Wizards are known for their stability, strength and ability to always come through when you need them. The Flex/Mini Pocket Wizards for Nikon are no exception. They just simply work right out of the box.

I have a number of Pocket Wizards for remote flash and camera triggering. Got the Flex TT5 to allow high speed sync withNikon SB units. Have used the original Quantum unit and Phottix units I picked up in Hong Kong, but like my PW's the best. They are quality units. Nikon wireless system is to darn expensive....

I use this with my Nikon D7000 and SB900 and SB910 flashes. I am somewhat disappointed with the need to use a computer to change the channels as this creates a need to bring a computer with you on all assignments just in case you need to change the channel. Another dislike is the need to set the flash to standard dispersion which I typically don't use. Other than that the unit functions well. The software has a pretty good help screen, but can be somewhat confusing at first. Watching videos on usage definately helped.

I love that these units take double A batteries and not a special battery like the MiniTT1. The unit is reliable and easy to use. Makes my life easier being able to trigger without needing line of sight and opens the door to many more creative opportunities.

For years I used line of site triggers for my flash. These transmitters have changed everything.

I like off camera flash but the Nikon i-TTL in the camera works some of the time. These simply work, every time. What more can you ask for? Dependable and versatile. And... they work with the older Pocket Wizards such as the Plus X.

This wizard gives me the option of creating images that are not possible on the hot shoe!

Offers great control of your off camera flashes with up to 3 zones of lighting setups and +-3 stops of lighting adjustment when coupled with a ACS controller.

Getting the flash off the camera has never been so easy. Pretty much plug and play. I can fire three flash guns at once located in different areas. For me the setup for more complicated flash setting were a little confusing but the tech crew answers questions relatively fast.

Reliability you've come to expect from a PocketWizard. Got this along with the Mini TT1 to get the free AC3 controller via rebate. A week after sending the rebate in, the AC3 controller was at my house. Thanks PocketWizard!

Very dependable and consistent output. Recently used them off camera for lighting a very large group of faculty members. Set the TT5 units up early on manual and locked down the exposures for the group. Two hours of shooting and each exposure was consistently spot on. In post production, each exposure was as tight as the one before. I was very pleased as I have not had great results with other off camera lighting control equipment. For TTL exposures on the fly, after the first "calibration" shot, they perform flawlessly with recovery rates that keep up with my SB-910 units. More than enough channel choices and very easy to adjust using the AC3 on camera with a camera mounted Flex TT5. I did notice that using the TT5 unit on the D700, access to the ISO button was somewhat obstructed... not a problem at all with the D3s or D4 bodies. Putting them around corners, behind furniture or even covered with light fabric, they fire first time everytime. I couldn't be more pleased. Updating firmware was easy and straight forward... no problems with all Nikon equipment and CLS components. SB-800, SB-900 and SB-910 equally workable. Used on the D-300, D-700, D3s and D4 with predictably consistent performance. Very Happy with them, dropped in today to add another unit.

I only got them a week ago, used them twice, so far I really like the ability to be off camera. They have worked real well with my Nikon d3. The only grip I have is the hot shoe is plastic, I wish it were made of metal. They appear to be worth the money.

This is a great little tool. I shoot weddings and have used Radio Poppers in the past. I bought these units because of the promised higher shutter speeds - and I am able to get up to 1/1000 shutter sync speed using hypersync - a new technology that pocket wizard has developed. With this higher shutter speed I can now compete with the direct sun with a single Nikon SB800 flash.

Used primarily for portrait and wedding photography. The Nikon Creative lighting system is not bad but once you get these setup your lighting moves into a new realm of freedom.

I use pocket wizard plus II. In combination with the pocketwizard TT5. But always wanted for some kind of system that allows me to work by my self and stillbe able to controll every single light with out wasting time adjusting my equipment. I am a one man army , therefore the versatility of the flex pocket wizard made me complete. While working in studio is simple to set up so easy to sync camera with speed lights in my case. And outdoors is ridiculously amazing how much reach it has even at dawn. I was a bit skeptical about the functions and the money invested in the flex system. But is worth every single peny and I am very happy and satisfied with my pocket wizards and I will recommend it to every one I know.

This is THE product to get for off camera flash photography/Nikon TTL work. Yes, Nikon CLS works, but this works better. Radio triggers as opposed to light based triggers work better in all conditions, including brightly lit conditions. Pocketwizards are the only game in town for me. They are reliable, easy to configure, easy to update and have tech support if needed. You do NOT need a TT1 with this system, however I use one on camera as it is smaller and lighter... getting in my way less and is less prone to getting knocked. Make sure you check pocketwizards website for the proper cable for your flash or camera if you want to do remote trigger work. My only complaint would be that the hotshoe foot is plastic, but I have had no problems with it. I love it! I use the AC3 controller on top of my TT1 & have 3 TT5 flexes for strobe use. I love this setup! Remember, if you have older flashes or off brand flashes that don't work with this system, you can still trigger that flash in Slave mode, from one of your other flashes. I use this technique occasionally, when I need more light than one flash can put out. To sum up, have no fear, PocketWizards are here.

The PocketWizard FleXTT5 Transceiver Radio Slave is part of an ultra-versatile radio slave system and is dedicated specifically to the Nikon i-TTL flash control system. It simply slides directly into the camera's hot shoe and there are no special settings to make or modes to call up. Use the camera, on-camera flash, or flash commander controls for flash compensation, zone and ratio control.
It supports single or multiple dedicated flash units. The FleXTT5 is the ideal addition to any Nikon i-TTL flash system. Since this system works on digital radio technology, it can support E-TTL operation up to an amazing 800', even around corners, out-of-sight, or in bright sunlight.
