Shopper : What unit do I need on my Nikon camera to work with the Power ST4 for Elinchrom Ranger AS ? Thanks in advance.DUANE E : I'm using a Canon camera and on it I have a PW MininTT1. Go to the PW utility and update both units. Once I updated them it has worked flawless.Andrew S : Adorama sent me your question. I apologize that I do not know the proper answer as I shoot Canon. I got the pocketwizard tt5 to trigger these. I don't see why it would not work on a Nilkon. I think the only canon specific aspect is the speed lite control. ANDREW R : In addition to this unit you would need either a PocketWizard MiniTT1 Transmitter or FlexTT5 Transceiver.
Shopper : does it work non RX ELINCHROMES?STEVE D : i am using this with my elinchrome Ranger and it works fineANDREW R : The PowerST4 is compatible with the following Elinchrom flashes:? Style 300RX - 1200RX - 600RX Digital 1200RX - 2400RX Ranger* Ranger RX - Ranger RX Speed (S) - Ranger RX Speed AS ?* Ranger models require Elinchrom's EL 19374 - EL-Skyport Transceiver RX Adapter
Shopper : will this work with pocketwizard lll on the camera? ThanksFRANK C : I believe it will. I have not found a Pocket Wizard that it will not work with.PHIL W : I believe it will work. It works with a first generation sending unit from camera to fire it. We've used it with a Flex to not only fire them, but also move their power up and down from camera.DON P : yesSTEVE D : Yes, will work with any pocket wizard, works great

Great addition to the Ranger RX speed AS strobe

This item is needed so that the Ranger RX will work with the elinchrom skyport remote triggers, in addition it also works well with a recently acquired Sekonic 478 DR-u. A necessay addition so that this old strobe integrates with the rest of the equipment.

Great Option for Elinchrom Ranger

I opted for the Pocket Wizard system on an Elinchrom Ranger AS Speed because sometimes I use speedlights in conjunction with other main lights and I don't know of a way to integrate the Elinchrom skyport system with speed lights. Use this with the AC Zone controller on a couple of speedlights and you can light just about anything and control it from one place. Great flexibility, you can program the length of time the modeling light stays on through the Pocket Wizard utility (great for evening shoots), and it just plain works.

The PowerST4 Receiver enables remote power control of Elinchrom RX flashes using PocketWizard ControlTL technology. With a MiniTT1 Transmitter or FleXTT5 Transceiver on your camera and a PowerST4 plugged into your Elinchrom RX flash, you can now adjust the flash power settings directly from the camera position. Add the AC3 ZoneController and you can control three different zones of lights in 1/3-stop increments with up to a six-stop range. Utilize PocketWizard's unique features such as HyperSync and Optimized Rear Curtain Sync for maximum control of your lighting
