I have an 80mm Pentax scope that spends too much time in storage because of it’s weight. Buying a Pentax 65mm scope and the Pentax 12mm fixed eyepiece has given me everything I need without the weight and size. I considered the more expensive ED eyepiece, but for my casual use this eye piece is great. Side by side I’m sure there is a difference, but this eyepiece does a great job for the price.
