I did a lot of independent research on what defines a rifle scope from good-to-excellent quality, and their associated costs. I have several of the main brand name scopes and when compared to each other higher price does not always mean better quality optics. What constitutes the best characteristics of a rifle scope? Multi-coated lenses for clear vision, nitrogen filled tube to insure moisture does not enter the scope, and durability that keeps the scope zero at all times. This is my second Gameseeker II and it will be replacing a "name brand" scope on one of my medium caliber rifles.
