The Pentax Gameseeker 5x 3-15x50 is an accurate and rugged. The 1.0" main-tube is constructed from a single piece of aluminum for durability and dependability - it's filled with dry nitrogen for water and fogproof viewing. The magnification range of this scope is quite versatile - having the ability to sight-in on targets at short, medium and long-range with one optic is a fantastic benefit. At low-power the field is wide and bright. Dialing the power up to 15x really helps with those 600 yd shots - long-distance varminters will have their crosshairs on Rodney Rodent in a flash. The 50mm bell is big and it's bright - a must-have feature when you're sporting such a high-powered optic.

The ocular is a fast-focus type so you can make your adjustments rapidly and accurately. This Gameseeker 5x is configured with a Penta-Plex reticle and a matte black finish. A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
