EXCELLENT RIFLESCOPE FOR THE PRICE
I use the scope for hunting and it is very effective out to 400 yds using my Stag 6.8mm SPC rifle. It adjust easily to the distances I am shootin and the clarity is fantastics. You cannot beat this scope for the price. Everyone that looks at the riflescope at the shooting range has to take a second look. Matched up with the Stag rifle in is a good looking match up. Very pleased with pentax
great value for your buck. working with a limited budget i bought this scope. mounted it on a long range rifle. fantastic performance, perfect clarity. the 30mm tube lets in all the light possible. just as good as my leupold. pentax is a name you can trust.
The Pentax Gameseeker30 6-24x50 Riflescope (Matte Black) is accurate, rugged. The main tube features a 30 mm, one-piece construction for rugged dependability and is nitrogen filled for clear viewing at all times. The finger-adjustable high windage and elevation turrets ensure precision accuracy. It also comes with the additional feature of side parallax adjustment. A bright and sharp sight picture, that even a seasoned hunter can appreciate, is made possible by Pentax's legendary full multicoating on precision-ground, all-glass lenses in combination with their PentaBright technology. Shot-to-shot repeatability is ensured by the 1/8 MOA precision adjustments and Pentax's proprietary Precision Plex reticle.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
