Shopper : Is it a center-pinch lens cap as shown? You have two product images in different places, sometimes the older one, and sometimes the newer one with center pinch. I need a center-pinch one that works with lens hoods. Thanks.ALFRED S : From the Adorama home page, if you type in "Pentax 67mm lens cap," in the Search window, the center-pinch lens cap is the cap that is displayed. I never cared for the original, older style lens cap that came with my lens, as it was virtually impossible to remove with the lens hood in place. The center-pinch caps works with the hood in place. Ideally, the recesses could be a little deeper, but that would probably add unwanted bulk for most users. I was prompted to purchase it after a recently acquired 55-300 DA lens came with the improved cap.TATPONG T : Pentax O-LC67 (p/n: 31521) is the newer center-pinch cap and is made in China. The older type is Pentax F 67mm (p/n: 31653) made in Japan.NATHAN H : I purchased this a little over a year ago, and I recieved a center-pinch type cap.JOAN F : I have the pinch model. 52 mm Pentax lens cap

This is the best 52 mm Pentax lens cap I have ever seen. It is truly amazing. I measured the lens diameter, which was 52 mm, and then checked with several reddit groups to make sure that 52 mm was what everyone else was getting. Then I ordered it, and it came a few days later, and it was 52 mm!!! I was totally blown away. And it has these spring things that you press and they make it stay on the lens! Wow!! Now that's a feature I wasn't counting on and they threw it in for no extra charge! Oh thank you Adorama!!

I am sure it would be very remarkable if I could receive my order of July 29th, instead of a Canon 79mm lens hood! I still have not received an exchange or response about it from any one whom can read! I guess it may being sent from India!

Pentax Rear Lens Caps fit Pentax lenses better than other brands.

Quick on. Quick off. No hunting for alignment. Satisfyingly positive feedback. Save time when changing lenses. The only other one I would consider is one that is made of soft plastic and slides on without twisting. But still Pentax brand Rear Lens Caps work best. I replace the Rear Lens Caps that come with non-Pentax lenses with Pentax Rear Lens Caps.

cut the light!

This item is a battery-saving necessity for an older Pentax (e.g. K-1000) which has no on-off switch for the light meter. Of course, it also protects the front lens element from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. In the case of this item, it is as good as it gets - a nice example of the virtue of form following function.
