Upgrading from the original 540FGZ
Definitely the best flash with TTL and HSS available for the Pentax system in my opinion. I like the original 540FGZ that came bundled with my K-3 last year a lot. It was a real reliable workhorse that I've used on several portrait shoots. Great improvement
My older Pentax 540 died in Honduras. I bought this when I returned. This is a much-improved product. First it is much lighter and more compact than previous models. The shoe bracket that fits onto the camera is metal and fits better. The flash works flawlessly on my Pentax K-3 and my new K-1.
