It has an excellent tray life. I was interrupted in one darkroom session, so I covered the tray with a larger tray and came back about 24 hours later, and ot worked fine. It is one of the developers that rivals the old Kodak "Dektol" for overall performance.

Great initial results and longer lasting than the Ilford developer I was using. Great product!

I don't think I'll bother trying any other paper developer. This stuff works great! And it seems to last forever! I'm still using the same batch I diluted three weeks ago and it hasn't changed color yet. I'll keep using it until it quits working and then mix up some more.

I bought this as a convenient substitute for Dektol.

Formulary's 130 Paper Developer is a superb paper developer that produces a full scale of rich blacks. The developer has an excellent shelf life, high capacity and is very suitable for batch processing. The prints obtained with F130 are surpassed only by the Amidol Developers, however F130 is much more pleasant to work with. They feel F130 is one of the best developers ever formulated. The chemicals in Formulary 130 make stock solutions which are diluted 1:1 with water to make the working solution. The stock solution is stable up to 6 months. A capacity of about 50 8x10" prints can be expected per 1 liter of working solution.
