Excellent stuff. Easy to mix and use. A great way to get a different look from your black and white film. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for experimentation's sake and to try and get closer to your artistic vision as a film photographer

This time I bought my Pyrocat-HD in Glycol from Adorama for convenience sake. I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012 and have had consistent success with them. "Shiprock" was developed using a dilution of 1.5:3:100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum and a Jobo CPP3 processor operated at 55 RPM.

I've used Pyrocat MC in a Jobo for a number of years. I get good results on a wide range of films. The staining effect contributes to fewer printing steps. Highly recommended.

Take your film development to the next level with the high-quality ABC Pyro Film Developer from Photographers' Formulary. This professional-grade product is a classic formula that utilizes Pyrogallol as the developing agent, akin to the renowned Kodak D-1 and Ansco 45.
Designed specifically for large format use, the ABC Pyro Film Developer is known for producing negatives with normal to low contrast, ensuring your images retain their authentic look. The grain is minimal, and acutance is high, resulting in sharp, clear images that truly capture the moment.
Despite a slight loss of about 1/2 stop in film speed, the negatives developed with this solution exhibit a beautiful scale and gradation, enhancing the overall quality of your photographs. The product is easy-to-use, with the chemicals in the kit used to create three stock solutions. These are then combined and diluted to form the working solution.
A single 1-liter kit of this reliable film developer can yield up to 10 liters of working solution, providing ample supply for your film development needs. The stock solutions have a shelf life of six months, ensuring longevity and value for money. Please note, the working solution is intended for single-use and should be discarded after use.
Whether you're developing black and white or color negative films, the ABC Pyro Film Developer is an effective solution that delivers consistent, high-quality results. This product is a testament to Photographers' Formulary's commitment to manufacturing top-tier photographic chemicals and supplies.
