Questions & Answers

Zuphachai l : Any instruction for using this chemical ? Thank youLOUIS C : I add it to the paper developer when I am printing black & white negatives. In liquid form it is one ounce to 32 ounces of developer approximately. I have yet to use the powdered form. LouJON H. M : This is a chemical used in some black and white film developer formulations that you mix yourself. It can also be added to black and white paper developers to use with old photographic papers so they develop out with nice whites instead of the mottled brownish whites that you would ordinarily get with old papers.DAVID T : I havent used this yet, so dont know if instructions are included. Try google for more information. ThanksTERRY C : I haven't actually used it myself yet, but the directions I've seen call for 10-20 ml (as needed) of a 2% solution of benzotriazole added to your paper developer of choice to reduce fog. See Anchell & Troop's 'The Darkroom Cookbook' for further information.JOSEPH C : I'm not a photographer. I use it to treat "bronze disease", a progressive halide corrosion of ancient bronze.JASON T : I was not using it for photography, rather as a corrosion inhibitor in copper.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?MARK P : Post layering fixativeJohn M : I shoot a lot of expired films.ALEXEY V : Corrosion inhibitor for copper and silver.
