Excellent stuff. Easy to mix and use. A great way to get a different look from your black and white film. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for experimentation's sake and to try and get closer to your artistic vision as a film photographer

This time I bought my Pyrocat-HD in Glycol from Adorama for convenience sake. I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012 and have had consistent success with them. "Shiprock" was developed using a dilution of 1.5:3:100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum and a Jobo CPP3 processor operated at 55 RPM.

I've used Pyrocat MC in a Jobo for a number of years. I get good results on a wide range of films. The staining effect contributes to fewer printing steps. Highly recommended.

It's no secret that Barry Thornton's Exactol Lux Film Developer is a top-tier choice for artists and photographers aiming to create monochrome fine prints of exceptional quality. This unique film developer, hailing from the same renowned family as DiXactol Ultra, is celebrated for its distinctive characteristics that set it apart in the photography world.
The Exactol Lux Film Developer is known for its clean working process, enabling the production of a broad spectrum of richly graduated tones. It particularly excels in capturing and preserving translucent and delicately drawn highlights, a feature that is highly sought after by discerning photographers.
One of the standout features of this film developer is its impressive resistance to 'blocking' at high exposure levels. This ensures that your images maintain their clarity and detail, even in the most challenging lighting conditions. Furthermore, it enhances shadow detail and separation to unprecedented levels, adding depth and dimension to your photographs.
With the Exactol Lux Film Developer, you can expect to spend less time on post-processing tasks such as burning-in. This is particularly beneficial when working with landscape skies, where the developer's superior graduation capabilities shine. The result is markedly improved areas that have been burned-in, providing a smoother, more natural look.
For those who value the fine separation of tones in their work, Barry Thornton's Exactol Lux Film Developer is a fulfilling choice. It's not just a film developer; it's a tool that enhances your artistic vision, helping you capture the world in its most authentic and beautiful form.
