Try it. You Will like it.

It has an excellent tray life. I was interrupted in one darkroom session, so I covered the tray with a larger tray and came back about 24 hours later, and ot worked fine. It is one of the developers that rivals the old Kodak "Dektol" for overall performance.

Best ever!

I don't think I'll bother trying any other paper developer. This stuff works great! And it seems to last forever! I'm still using the same batch I diluted three weeks ago and it hasn't changed color yet. I'll keep using it until it quits working and then mix up some more.

Be at the forefront of photographic development with the Photographers' Formulary BW-65 Liquid Paper Developer. This high-quality, professional-grade developer is formulated with Phenidone and glycin, renowned for producing a full scale of deep, rich blacks that bring your photographic prints to life. Its reliable performance is characterized by a long shelf life and an impressive tray life, ensuring that your developer remains effective over extended periods of use.

Crafted for the discerning photographer, the BW-65 developer boasts a high capacity for processing numerous prints without compromising on quality. Its composition is free from metol, making it a safer choice for both users and the environment, while still achieving results very close to those of traditional Amidol prints. The absence of metol also means that you won't encounter the common staining problems associated with some developers.

The versatility of the BW-65 is unmatched, with the ability to tailor the development process to your specific needs. The amount of working solution yielded from each kit can vary based on the dilution ratio you choose. Whether you're in need of a rapid development process or have the luxury of time, this developer can adapt. For instance, at a 1:1:1 dilution ratio, you can achieve full blacks in a swift 15-30 seconds. Alternatively, a more diluted 1:1:10 ratio will deliver full blacks in a more gradual 5-7 minutes, allowing for greater control over the development process.

This liquid A and B stock solution formula is not only effective but also convenient. The two 1-gallon bottles provide ample developer to meet the needs of photographers who work with large volumes of paper. The BW-65 is akin to the F130 developer but offers the ease of a liquid solution, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow for both amateur and professional photographers alike.

In summary, the BW-65 Paper Developer is a durable, effective, and professional choice for those seeking exceptional quality in their photographic prints. Its convenience and adaptability make it a superior option for photographers who demand the best from their development process.
